Forsaken

before the war, a small company called Noble Electrics what wanted to build a robot pony filly for parents who couldn't have a colt or filly of their own but didn't want to go to the trouble of adopting orphans.
    
    the, "little wonderbot" was outfitted to act just like a young foal, but to get them built faster they were not built with a denial protocol. they were launched about a year before the war started. at first they were a huge success. but they kept selling very well but not to eager parents, not most the time.
   
     most "little wonderbot" were bought by child pornographers looking to get around laws against that. around 450 Little wonderbots were sold into pornography or slavery due to the fact they couldn't say no and suffered for Noble's horrible error. after a year the little wonderbots were taken out of production until the issue was fixed. less than 27 out of 477 little wonderbots were sold into loving families.

when the war finally came, most of the little wonderbots were destroyed, but a few still linger even after 200 years they wander the wastes searching for their perfect family to put an end to the countless hours of abuse and pain and to bring a warm light into their empty lives.

the years of neglect took it's toll. many lost their sight and hearing from the war. even to this day if you listen, you can hear the little wonderbots as they sob at night crying out for a mommy that is long since dead, or a daddy long ago forgotten. now they are trapped, unable to see a kind smile, unable to hear a loving phrase.
    they are the "Forsaken ones", damned to wander the wastes till they eventually break down and never to be loved.
